This performance offers a dreamlike immersion into the myth of Apollo and Daphne, an epic where passionate love clashes with the inexorability of fate. Before George Frideric Handel's famous cantata Apollo e Dafne resonates, the audience is invited to discover a choreographic interlude for four dancers, carried by the elegance of the Suite No. 3 in G Major from Water Music. In this enchanted garden, a true theater of metamorphoses where the grace of movement, instrumental virtuosity, and the emotion of human voices intertwine, Cupid delights in playing with hearts. Faced with the god's ardent pursuit and the nymph's fierce resistance, the little winged god remains magnanimous: with a stroke of wit and his golden arrow, he transforms tragedy into an eternal celebration of beauty!
