Valérie Pellegrini discovered her passion for opera at an early age, singing with the Geneva Conservatory Maîtrise. Then, she studied with Heidi Brunner at Haute École de Musique of Geneva.
Her stage appearances include La Messaggiera in Monteverdi's Orfeo under the baton of Leonardo Alarcón, Dorabella in Così fan tutte in a Lausanne and Fribourg Opera production, and several notable roles at the Toûno Festival. Valérie Pellegrini regularly appears as a soloist in oratorio works, as well as in cantatas by Bach and Buxtehude conducted by Paul Agnew in Geneva.
Valérie Pellegrini has shined in several international competitions: 3rd prize at the Froville International Baroque Singing Competition in 2022, finalist in the 2022 Mahler Competition in Geneva, and semi-finalist in the Cavalli&Monteverdi Competition in Cremona in 2023.
Her passion for ensemble music has led her to work with a number of professional choirs, including Aedes Ensemble, the Choir of the Opéra Royal de Versailles and the Choir of Geneva Grand-Théâtre.
