Biography

Currently living in Vienna, where she studies and works at the Wiener Staatsoper, Adriana Gheorghisor-Caldare is a young artist who has already taken part in numerous musical projects.

She began her professional journey at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence and made her opera debut in the role of Lauretta in Giacomo Puccini's Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro di Figline in Valdarno. In 2016, she began a collaboration with the Bucharest Comic Opera, where she debuted in various roles such as Pamina, Blondchen, and Bastienne.

Her love and interest in vocal chamber music led her to begin a collaboration with pianist Tudor Caldare. In 2016, they were awarded third prize at the Suzana Szörenyi International Duo Competition in Bucharest. Since 2022, she has been a member of TOA, the first young artist opera program in Romania.
