Biography
Hungarian harpsichordist Margit Jassó (b. 2000, Budapest) is completing a master's in harpsichord concert performance with Béatrice Martin at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, holding a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship; she earned her bachelor's at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. An experienced continuo player, she has performed since 2025 with the Orfeo Orchestra under György Vashegyi and given a solo appearance at the Victoria Hall in Geneva alongside Enrico Gatti. She performs regularly in Salzburg and Budapest and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and the Hungarian Radio Orchestra. She has taken masterclasses with Steven Devine, among others.
