Manon Chapelle

Biography

Manon Chapelle is a passionate performer and enthusiastic teacher, dividing her musical life between performing and teaching. She studied at Versailles Conservatory and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels, where she obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree, before getting admitted to the Haute Ecole de Musique of Geneva, where she obtained a master’s degree in pedagogy. During her studies, she benefited from the advice and experience of many great masters, including Julia Griffin, Emmanuelle Guigues or Philippe Pierlot.She is the artistic director of several ensembles with whom she performs: Les Flots Baroques, La Ferté and Charivari. In 2023, she won the Gli Angeli chamber music prize with Charivari ensemble, and in 2024 the Nuits d'Onex and Groux-Extermann soloist prizes, as well as the Tremplin creation prize from the Leenaards Foundation.Alongside her life as a performer, Manon Chapelle organises and teaches in early music courses, and creates interdisciplinary shows, as with her company Acroch'.
