Anastasiya Akinfina

Anastasiya Akinfina began studying the piano at the age of six in Moscow. In 2017 she began studying also the harpsichord with Olga Martynova. From 2009 to 2014, she studied at the Moscow Conservatoire harpsichord, fortepiano, piano and chamber music.
In 2016, she moved to the Netherlands where she studied early keyboards with Richard Egarr, Menno van Delft, Patrick Ayrton and Bart van Oort. In 2019 and 2020, she got her Master’s degree in harpsichord playing and the Artist’s Certificate in fortepiano playing at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
She has received various awards from festivals/competitions in Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Russia. In 2019 she has been asked to perform in presence of Princess Beatrix. Her performances were broadcasted by the Russian Radio in its program Baroque practice, Radio 4 NL. In 2023, Dutch label Brilliant Classics released album with music by P. Nardini: Complete music for two violins where Anastasiya is playing basso continuo.
Anastasiya Akinfina is a versatile performer, both in solo playing as well as chamber and orchestral music. Her repertoire spans music from the late Renaissance to today. She is dedicated to performing any repertoire on period instruments, taking a sound knowledge of historical performance practices into account.
