Biography
Violist, performer and improviser Louise Cauchemez, initially trained in the Paris region, is pursuing a bachelor's in viola at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne. She takes part in numerous projects between France and Switzerland as a classical chamber musician, orchestral player and improviser. Seeking a broader stage experience, she has trained in clown and for several years explored somatic practices linked to instrumental playing, such as the Alexander Technique. In January 2026 she joins the classical session of the Le Moment Baroque orchestra, with a particular interest in historically informed performance of the baroque and classical repertoire.
