ABOUT
Historique

Our story begins in 2020: first edition is created on the initiative of Igor Diakoff, municipal in charge of culture, in collaboration with Marijana Mijanović, a world-renowned opera singer. This cultural project aims to highlight Baroque art and pass on unique expertise to young classical talents. It also aims to forge links between the different members of our community by offering them the opportunity to take part in the organisation from near and far.
These teaching days are open to the public so that everyone can attend a high quality artistic work. The initial intention to involve the Prangish community in all stages of the project's development was immediately realised by the enhancement of the various skills of our fellow citizens at all stages of the project. In order to continue the adventure and to perpetuate this event in the cultural agenda of the village, the Prangins Baroque association was created at the end of 2020.
The 2021 edition is currently being prepared, the dates will be communicated in March 2021. If you would like to be informed of our projects, please register to our Newsletter.

"The original intention was to involve the Prangish community in all stages of project development. The gamble paid off: hosting the artists, creating the website and communicating about the project are, among other things, the fruit of the know-how of our fellow citizens."

La Côte
"While the masterclasses generally take place out of sight, "Baroque à Prangins" is aptly named, immersing an anthology of voices in the heart of Prangins' daily and civic life, where people come and go, meet and chat."

Gazette de Prangins
"This is a project that has been maturing over the last few years! (...) a project of baroque music in two parts: a masterclass offered to young professional singers and open to the public, followed by two concerts to present the work done."
