Five days of creation
Young professional musicians and advanced students from higher educational institutions who wish to deepen their knowledge of the French baroque repertoire can apply. After a selection process, the chosen musicians and singers will have the privilege of working with internationally renowned artists and the opportunity to benefit from their precious knowledge and experience.
The first atelier is devoted to chamber instrumental music of the 17th and 18th centuries French repertoire and will be led by Emmanuel Resche-Caserta, concertmaster of the orchestra Les Arts Florissants and accompanied by the harpsichordist Dušan Toroman.
The second atelier is devoted to 18th century French cantatas. The selected singers will work with contralto Marijana Mijanović, harpsichordist-vocal coach Florian Carré and stage director Kateryna Sokolova. In the final days, the two ateliers will merge in preparation for the public performances.
The ateliers as well as meals and accommodation in host families in Prangins are provided free of charge for the selected artists.
These five days of intense research and experimentation, held in various premises of the town of Prangins, will be open to the public and will offer a unique opportunity to witness high quality artistic work while it is being created.
