Lucile Bailly-Gourévitch began her musical journey at the age of 6 by discovering the recorder, but she was quickly fascinated by the voice. She studied with the Maîtrise de Paris, directed by Patrick Marco, at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris.

After obtaining her baccalaureate, she chose to study Russian at the INALCO, then began studying speech therapy in Lille. This training left her with the desire to reach a wider audience than that of traditional opera singing.

In 2020, she began her training as a performer and teacher with Agnès Mellon and Mary Saint-Palais at the ESM of Bourgogne-Franche Comté, then joined the Musikhochschule of Freiburg im Breisgau with Torsten Meyer as part of an Erasmus programme. In September 2022, she joined the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Ulrike Hofbauer.

Lucile Bailly-Gourevitch is interested in various repertoires, from ancient to contemporary music, and performs as a soloist and chorister in various ensembles such as the opera choir of the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing or the ’un par voix’ of the In Paradisum quartet.
