Geneviève Larger joined the Ecole Maîtrisienne de Dijon as a soloist at an early age, where she discovered early music with the La Fenice ensemble and Judith Pasquier.

She went on to study singing and transverse flute at the Dijon Conservatoire, alongside her language studies. She went on to study flute at the Ecole Supérieure de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree and her teaching diploma.

After completing her flute studies, Geneviève Largere worked for a year in the Fanfare and Bagad of the 9th Marine Infantry Brigade. Then she went on to study traverso in Besançon, where she was in contact with the musicians of Les Timbres and David Plantier, before obtaining a Master’s degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in Serge Saïtta’s class.
