Manon Chapelle
Viole de gambe
A graduate of the CRR de Versailles and the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in viola da gamba performance in the classes of Emmanuelle Guigues and Philippe Pierlot, Manon Chapelle is currently pursuing her musical career at the HEM in Geneva, studying for a Master's degree in pedagogy with Guido Balestracci.
During her training, she has also benefited from the advice of Julia Griffin, Lucile Boulanger and Christophe Coin, among others.
Dividing her time between performing and teaching, Manon Chapelle takes part in numerous productions with ensembles such as Les Flots Baroques and La Ferté, which she also directs. She organises and runs early music courses with the Caix d'Hervelois, Les Amusemens and Ouvrez la Tête associations, and teaches music training, notably at the Geneva Conservatoire, as well as the viola da gamba.
Her studies in literary preparatory classes, theatre and contemporary dance have also enabled her to nurture her artistic practice by forging links between disciplines.
