The Prangins Baroque Festival has flourished thanks to the collaboration of a group of people who share a clear vision and work together in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and mutual respect.
It is further supported by the commitment of many Pranginois and its valued partners, thus making up a genuine community that comes together every year to create an unforgettable cultural and social experience for all.
All these shared skills are wonderfully represented by a musical ensemble, hence the theme of our next edition: ENSEMBLES.
Our programme will be open to baroque vocal, instrumental or mixed ensembles made up of young professional musicians.
The selected ensembles will be invited to Prangins. In addition to their musical performance, which will be studied in depth, they will be encouraged to develop a clear artistic identity and to present their programme in a captivating way.
We are delighted to welcome three new members to our artistic team:
Bojan Čičić, concertmaster of The Academy of Ancient Music, Steven Devine, conductor and harpsichordist, principal keyboardist of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and Denis Jaccard, educator, hypnotherapist and mental coach, who will enrich our work by combining psycho-emotional approaches with art and creativity. Together with stage director and choreographer Marie-Nathalie Lacoursière and dancer Stéphanie Brochard, who will be focusing on stage presence and body awareness, this eclectic team will ensure a high-quality work.
Throughout the week of 2 to 8 September, Prangins will be vibrating to the sound of baroque music, with workshops open to the public and free concerts organised throughout the village.
Music performance means working together. And working together means using our differences to create a balanced and complete result.
This year we're celebrating our 5th anniversary: what better occasion to celebrate this work together - in music and in life - with our artists, our audiences, our partners and the institutions that have been with us since the beginning!
